As of 5 January 2016, applicants who are seeking for a Turkish visa will need to log in www.visa.gov.tr to schedule an appointment with the Turkish Consulate.

Unless online visa application is done, visa process will not be started. Applicants without an appointment will not be accepted.

In addition to the documents requested in the application, a valid health insurance during Turkey visit is compulsory.

It is highly recommended to apply for visa interview at least one month in advance before the planned travel.

Visa fees are not refundable if the applications are rejected.

Applicants will be automatically notified about the appointment date shortly after required information is entered into the system.
